Notes The Human Torch can be seen here wearing a red and yellow costume. He adopted this uniform to pay respect to the original Human Torch of the 1940s in Fantastic Four #132. He will continue to wear this uniform until Fantastic Four #159.
There are multiple references in this story regarding the deaths of both Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn. Gwen died in Amazing Spider-Man #121 and Norman seemingly died in the following issue. However, Osborn survived, as explained in Spider-Man: The Osborn Journal #1 and he will resurface again in Amazing Spider-Man #412.
People are unaware that Osborn was the Green Goblin because Harry stole his costume, as seen in Amazing Spider-Man #123. The true identity of the original Green Goblin is not revealed until Spider-Man: Legacy of Evil #1.
The Kangaroo truly dies here, as he is later seen in the Afterlife Mall in Sensational She-Hulk #53. He is later briefly resurrected in Prowler Vol 2 #1-5.
